by Alessandra Sanguinetti
When: Nov 12-16th 2012
Where: Sanguinetti Studio SF

Taking place in Alessandra's San Francisco studio, with the city as it's inspiration and subject this workshop is aimed at those who are passionate about telling stories and yearn to hone their skills at doing so. Acknowledging that there are infinite stories and endless ways of telling them, we will focus on recognizing and refining the technical and conceptual tools necessary to unfold a multi layered narrative in your own voice. This will be a hands on workshop with field trips, individual assignments, daily group discussion and editing sessions. You'll be expected to fully immerse yourself, take risks and push your boundaries in order to move forward into another level in your photography.

The workshop is open to 12 students of all backgrounds and interests who will need to submit 10 sample images* of their own work, together with a brief letter of introduction.

Participants will be expected to bring their own digital camera and laptop with basic editing software. If you wish to use film, you will be responsible for processing, scanning and meeting daily deadlines. Work prints, two final prints, reading material (and drinks and snacks..) are included. Lodging, food, and equipment are not provided.

Our digital tech will be available on Sunday the 11th for an optional one day introduction to Lightroom and to answer any other questions you may have for an additional $150.
