A survey detailing Henri Cartier-Bresson's key photographic moments will be shown at Sicily's Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Palermo.

The selection of 133 images, curated by Fondazione Fotografia's Vice-president Denis Curti, will pay homage to the pioneering photojournalist, whose precise crafting of the 'decisive moment' has remained a steadfast influence on modern photography.

Spotlighting key moments of Cartier-Bresson's oeuvre - from the photographer's early surrealist work to his documentation of the Paris Resistance Movement, and groupings of images chronicling his travels in the 60s and 70s - the exhibition offers an insightful approach to the late photographer's modus-operandi.
