This outdoor exhibition in Shrewsbury opens up the theme of evolution through Magnum's historic archive. Inspired by Shrewsbury’s links to Charles Darwin, the ten week exhibition will display 40 powerful, historic and contemporary photographs exploring Darwin’s legacy in modern society. The exhibition reflects on the journey of the world as we know it today, looking at man’s progression through technology, changes in society and the way we live, environmental concerns and scientific discoveries, and the historical events which have shaped the world we live in today.

The exhibition coincides with International Darwin Day and Darwin’s birthday on 12th February.

In association with the exhibition there will be a series of activities for all to get involved including a Photo Safari and Magnum Photos Talk.
