GREECE. Lesbos. Moria. 06 November 2020. Masha, 8 years old from Afghanistan. Since October, the numbers of the people infected from COVID-19 drastically incrised. The temorary camp immidiatly went to lockdown mode. People are not allowed to leave the camp apart if they have any medical condition that needs to be trated at the islands hospital. Masha and her mother were able to leave the camp for a couple of hours. They went at the coast when they firstly came to Greece by boat almost a year ago.
Masha is playing with the stones on the bach coast. Masha’s mother said that it is so important for her and her daughter to have a walk, play on the beach, being far from the camp from time to time. It is the only way for us to keep hope alive.
