POLAND. Warsaw. 20 January 2021. Protests against the bill dubbed GUILT+ which effectively bans any means of appealing arbitrary fines for various offences. The bill is intended to discourage the protesters from taking to the streets after the Constitutional Court declared abortion illegal in cases of fatally-damaged fetuses on October 22nd, 2020. Police acted aggressively, using teargas and pepper spray. More than 20 people were arrested.
