UAE. Abu Dhabi. 2024. Sham Musselem Abu Holi, 8 yrs old. At 8 in the morning of the 2nd of April 2024 a rocket hit the house where Sham lived. 4 family members were killed and 6 injured. When the rocket hit Sham was in the courtyard with her uncle. The uncle died in front of her eyes and she was left with her right arm hanging from her body. In the hospital they tried to save the arm but it had to be amputated. The Emirates Humanitarian City is a housing complex in Abu Dhabi. It provides support and medical assistance to over 2000 ill and injured Palestinians evacuated from the Gaza strip.
