Happiness got pregnant when she was 16. As a young single mother living in a very low-income situation, she found help at Young Mom's Clinic (YMC), a governement owned center in Ajeromi specialized in pregnant adolescent girls, funded with the support of UNFPA. At this center, Happiness was provided free ante-natal care services, free baby care items, psychosocial support and counselling for her and her family. She also received training on basic digital skills so that she could open up a business and have an income. Thanks to her venues, she is now independent and able to take care of herself. "My daughter is my priority, I am happy when she is happy."
