Damouré Zika is an Nigerian actor and healer, of the Sorko ethnic group, born in 1924 and died on 06 April 2009. A friend and accomplice of Jean Rouch, he played in several of the director’s 120 films. More than an actor, he contributed with Jean Rouch and Lam Ibrahim Dia at the direction, sound recording and scripts of some of the Jean Rouch’s films.
