LEBANON. Dahye, Beirut. Wednesday, September 25 2024.
Sara told me: “I had to leave my village in October and found a home and community for myself here in Dahye, and I don’t want to do it again. The situation is not just affecting me mentally or physically; my whole perspective of things shifted: I now get that we can never have peace as long as Israel exists, and our lives will always be affected by being a part of the dreams of a settler colonial project. Today I resist by creating even with everything going on. ”
