Little Cheyne Court Wind Farm is the most powerful onshore wind farm in the South of England. The wind turbines can generate enough clean power to meet the equivalent annual electricity needs of three quarters of the homes in the Shepway District Council area, which is the district in which the wind farm is located. Each turbine is rated at 2.3 megawatts, giving the wind farm a total capacity of 59.8 megawatts.
