PALESTINE. Hebron. 2013. Palestinian Territories/The West Bank. Clashes after the funeral of Anas Al-Atrash, a young Palestinian man killed at a checkpoint between Jenin and Hebron. He was returning from work at his father's shoe store. He was studying accounting in University and had no prior criminal record. Israeli soldiers alleged that he charged them with a knife at a routine stop while eyewitnesses independently claim he was shot when he unexpectedly stepped out a vehicle.
