England. Wiltshire. Salisbury. Salisbury Cathedral. As part of Salisbury's 800th anniversary celebrations of the sealing of the Magna Carta at Runnymede, Shakespeare's King John, a Globe Theatre production, was performed in the cathedral by the original London cast. Here, King John played by Jo Stone-Fewings raises his crown in front of the audience and the tomb of Robert, Lord Hungerford (1459), an alabaster effigy in Milanese armour with traces of pigment with Daniel Rabin as William Longsword (William Longspee), Earl of Salisbury in the background. 2015
