CROATIA. Šid. September 16, 2015. Migrants at the Croatian-Serbian border. The Hungarian-Serbian border had closed the previous day and thousands of migrants pivoted southwest into Croatia. The Croatians were ill-prepared for the massive influx and had only two small Police vehicles transporting migrants from the border crossing. Thousands quickly piled up on a small path through the cornfields, spending much of the night waiting for transport to a processing center.
