-How often does it happen here that someone drowns? Have you ever experienced this situation?
Since I’m working here no one had an accident like that. I swear to god. I remember few days ago I’ve been on a trip and I was not working, a 28 years old boy died here and they found his body yesterday near hotel Narges Kenar which is 1 kilometer away.

-Do you think people and mostly tourists are careful?
I have to say most of the tourists act like a child. They don’t listen to us and it’s like they don’t really care about the danger, they just understand the danger after a catastrophe happens.

-Have you ever saved someone’s life?
Few months ago I saved 4 person’s lives. A child, his parents and his uncle. It was really hard and the sea that time was really dangerous. My shoulder broke. I brought them to the beach and I did the CPR for all of them. You can find the video on instagram. Everyone in the city heard of that accident.

-Are there many life guards among local people here in Gilan province?
Yes, there are so many life guards, but sadly they are not professionals. Some of them they can’t even run because of their age. They just yell and tell people to watch out, They really don’t have the our ability, I mean young generatin.

-I guess your job is seasonal and you work more in summers, could you please tell us what you do in other seasons?
My main job is diving, I intubate under water and works like that.

-Where are the tourists here mostly come from?
I can say everywhere; they come from everywhere that you can think of. I’ve seen people from all parts of Iran, Iraq, Germany and many other countries.
