Peter van Agtmael
USA. Shelton, Washington. 2019. Chuck Coma at home.
Chuck Coma suffered a “hypoxic” brain injury when he was strangled by his cellmate at the federal penitentiary in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Since then he has suffered from memory loss, had extreme mood swings, and experienced occasional tremors. Coma had already been battling PTSD brought on by his military service in Panama and during the Gulf War. His family is now suing the federal government over the assault.
