JORDAN. Amman. March 21, 2020. It is day 2 of a mandatory curfew (punishable by 1 year of jail), and finally the sun is out after a week of bad weather. Today the government released a statement explaining the necessity for such extreme measures, and informing its citizens of what to expect on the days ahead. The government also announced that in the past 24 hours 400 people were arrested throughout the country breaking curfew.
