Newsha Tavakolian
GB. Boston, Lincolnshire. June 25, 2016. Liana Granta, 45, a Latvian mother of three and founder of a new church in Boston, sings religious songs in the main square. “We’re happy and have lived here for more than 10 years so will apply for a British passport soon. If you walk around the street here you can no longer hear English, you only hear Polish, Lithuanian, Romanian and now Bulgarian. There are also some problems with drugs and alcohol from these people. If you live in Boston and live a normal life, work, study English then its fine.”
She did not voted because of her citizenship but she lives in Boston, which recorded the highest leave vote in the UK.
