USA. Pass Christian, Mississippi. September 4, 2005. Debris from destroyed homes and local Wal-Mart. Where Hurricane Katrina hit shore much of the coastal area of Mississippi was destroyed including trees, highways, railroads, ports, marinas, commercial boats, downtown businesses and entire residential neighborhoods. Trees were snapped like tooth-picks and all homes had completely disappeared from the shore. Here, only the posts on which the houses stood remain.
