With the outbreak of SARS at the National Taiwan University Hospital, the emergency unit of the hospital has been shut down, and all doctors, nurses, and staff members are required to have their temperature taken before entering the building. Those whose temperature are higher than 38 degrees C (100.4F) are prohibited from entering the hospital.
