Barry looks for and receives advice and support from Masters, who has been a political friend for twenty years. She is a political science professor at the University of the District of Columbia. They are now married. Barry was asked to the podium to give a short talk to the assembled congregation. As a matter of course, when Barry was mayor, he often visited different churches on Sunday.
