PALESTINE. Beit Duqqu. 2004. International and Israeli peace activists non-violently protest with Palestinians against the path of the wall in midst of tear gas and sound grenades. Palestinians in the villages north and north west of Jerusalem (Beit Surik, Bidu, Qatane, Beit Anan, Beit Dukko, Beit Ijza, Nabi Samuel and Beit Ikssa, Bir Nabala, Rafat, Kalandia, Al-Gadeera and Al-Jeeb) will lose more than 80% of their farmland. Therefore affecting their sustenance in a landgrab sanctioned by the wall. To date, five citizens of the West Bank village of Bidu have died in protests against the wall.
