USA. NYC. September 7-15, 2004. Fashion Week. Bryant Park, an 8-acre park in New York City, has been temporarily transformed with tents and marquees to play host to the New York Fashion Week. This twice yearly event is an opportunity for US and international designers to show off their new collections in huge air-conditioned venues, accompanied by choreographed music and lighting routines. It is an event which attracts huge numbers of people on an invitation basis only; celebrities, journalists, buyers and socialites.
