AFGHANISTAN. Qargha Refugee Camp, West Kabul. May 2010. A Pashtun refugee from Helmand province shows a photograph of one of his "martyred" children killed in a British bombing raid on his village. The Pashtuns are the tribe from which the Taliban emerged. Tens of thousands of Pashtuns have fled the fighting, particularly in Kandahar and Helmand for impromptu refugee camps.
