Tension at the Syrian border at the Golan Heights continued after the Six Day War. After frequent shooting incidents and attempted attacks, in June 1970 a series of battles took place in the Syrian sector, which was called THE THREE DAY WAR. In the course of it, many prisoners of war fell into the hands of the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces).
