Werner Bischof Estate
FRANCE. Paris. US writer and teacher Helen KELLER in a cemetery. She lost her sight and hearing at the age of 2, after an illness. She learned to speak, read and write and became distinguished as a lecturer and writer. She fought to unify the writing of the deaf and mute. Her life inspired Arthur PENN's "Miracle in Alabama". 1949.
