The Ma'Abara Immigrant Transit Camp at Azata, in the Negev region - a regional center for the absorption of immigrants, set up in 1956 beside the Ashkelon-Beer-Sheva road. It later became the town of Netivot. Patients waiting for Dr Kalner, an Israeli gynecologist and Air Force pilot, and also a volunteer doctor at immigrant settlements in the Negev region.
