GB. London. Gee Street. The 'Loft' apartment of Peter Marlow and Fiona Naylor in the Clerkenwell area of London. Their home is a conversion of a complete floor of an old industrial building, built in 1952 that used to be a warehouse for silk and then later a printing works for the oil company BP. In the summer of 1999 Fiona and Peter created a large garden on the roof of the apartment. With cedar decking and river pebbles from Scotland, Max their son, who was then six years old, plays in his pyjamas, with some of the pebbles and makes a 'heart' shape on the deck.
