CANADA. Lambton County, Ontario. Photographer Larry TOWELL, as a young man, on a homemade raft he built from salvaged material. It is being launched on the Sydenham River. He floated on the river for two and a half years writing poetry. Eventually, he became a Magnum photographer. The Sydenham River still flows a few feet from his current front porch. 1975.
