The French painter Balthus (Count Balthasar Klossowski, born in 1908), who lives in a 40 room Chalet in Tossiniere in Switzerland. The building dates to the 18th century, it has large rooms with wooden panels and outhouses for storage which he has converted into an atelier.Balthus lives there with his Japanese born wife Setsuko (also a painter) and their daughter Haruni (Spring Flower).
