Raymond Depardon
Known throughout West Africa as nomadic pastoral tribes, where it is important to have the largest livestock herds available in order to have power and authority. The herds and their families move for thousands of kilometers along ancient routes, following waterholes and trading posts as their cattle's lifestyle is bound to the routes where water can be found. These photos are taken in various nomadic camps East of Tahoua.
