A native of the United States and the founder of the KACH nationalistic movement, Rabbi Meir KAHANE went to Israel in 1971 and tried to import his politics and xenophobia, calling for the expulstion of West Bank and Gaza Strip Palestinians to Jordan. He served briefly in the Knesset.
