CANADA. Lambton County, Ontario. 1992. Naomi TOWELL changes out of her bathing suit after swimming in the Sydenham River which flows beside the house. Her mother Ann is helping her. This is the first year we had "Banjo" the dog, who is still a puppy here but would soon become one useless and lazy farm dog. She had just been rescued from the dog pound where we found her as an abandoned puppy. The door opens into my woodworking shop that will be torn down in the summer of 1996 because I am building a darkroom and studio.
