FRANCE. Paris. May 19th, 1935. Popular Front leaders together for the celebration of the anniversary of the 1871 Paris Commune at the "Mur des Federes", an anti-fascist memorial to the defenders of the Commune, in the Pere Lachaise cemetery. The last surviving defenders were present with a crowd of 200.000. Socialists and Communists were marching together.
