Kami is located in the Andes, 4500 meters above the sea level, 7 hours by jeep from La Paz. It was founded in 1908 as a mining village. 6000 people live in it. Life expectancy is 30/35 years of age. There are gold, silver, tin, antimony, and tungsten mines. The miners eat coca leaves.
