Afula was founded in 1925, by the American "Kehilliat Zion" Company and was designed to be the City of Jezreel, the capital of the Jezreel Valley.Waiting for a prescription to be filled, an Arab woman from a nearby village nurses her infant and keeps a firm grip on her means of transportation.
