IRAN. Tehran. Iranians talk about President Mahmoud AHMADINEJAD. The Ex-Governor: Hamid Reza Jalaipour, in the salon of his home, was provincial governor at the same time as Ahmadinejad. He is now a Professor of Social Sciences at Tehran University after running an opposition newspaper which was closed by the regime. He says : "During the war vs. Iraq, Ahmadinejad was afraid to visit me at the front. I lost three brothers in this war, while he and his whole family managed to stay under cover. And he is now building himself up as the hero of the martyr generation !"
