Palermo neighbourghood. Norma Flores, 35 years old, coming from El barrio José Léon Suarez, has been a "cartonera" since 1996, when the economical situation started to deteriorate. At night, "cartoneros" invades the main streets of Buenos Aires, collecting cardboard to make a living. After seven hours of work, an average "cartonera" family collects 50 kilograms of paper for 15 to 20 pesos (5 to 7 euros), barely enough to put food on the table.
