Soldiers and tanks of the United Front/Northern Alliance loyal to late commander MASSOUD marching torwards the Kunduz frontline where all Taliban from the fallen territories of Northern Afghanistan have regrouped.
Local Afghan women dressed in Burkas. Although the Taliban where the strictest in imposing "Burkas" as the only accepted dress code for women, in most areas of Northern Afganistan under Northern Alliance control all women wear "Burkas".
