GEORGIA. Tbilisi. November 14, 2003. So far the biggest opposition demonstration assembled 20-30,000 people. The main speakers are Mikhail Saaklashvili and Zurab Shvania. After a call for ultimatum to President Shevardnaze to resign they march torwards the President's office, but abandon the direction (blocked by riot police). After a light scuffle, a dozen deputies who claim that their votes were not counted start a sit-in at the Central Election Comission headquarters. Opposition Demonstrations and Vigil on Tbilisi's main Avenue Rustavelli, in front of the Georgian Parliament. After eclatant fraud in favour of President E. Shevardnaze's ruling party in the November 2nd parliamentarian elections protest started. Protesters are united in an opposition block "National Movement" behind the main leaders Zurab Shvania, Nino Burshanadze, Mikhail Zaakashvili. They protest daily and keep a vigil during the night.
