The restoration of the Notre-Dame de Paris has been a unique occasion to rediscover the history of an almost nine-hundred-year-old monument.

During the restoration, a team led by rope climber Santiago Hardy and engineer specializing in metal Delphine Syvilay , discovered more than 1150 engravings on the walls of the ancient cathedral. The discovery of these engravings revealed new hypotheses on how craftsmen worked in the past, as well as unearthing a little-known heritage of the Notre-Dame cathedral, that has been right in front of us for centuries.
