On June 14, 2023, thousands of Italians attended the funeral of centre-right politician and media mogul Silvio Berlusconi, either behind their television or in the cathedral of Milan (Duomo Milano), the city he originated from. Several political figures were also present at the ceremony, including Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
