For one week in March, the Parliamentary Triangle in Australia's capital city, Canberra, was the launch pad for the 'Hot Air Balloon International Expo'. Up to 50 balloons of all shapes and sizes took to the skies each day at sunrise and flew over Canberra. The fiesta is part of the Canberra Festival, held every year, to celebrate the founding of the city.
