Consignment - NYC Blackout

Magnum Photographers

The 14 August blackout that hit eight states in the U.S and parts of Ontario, Canada was the largest power failure in North American history, and happened just as hundreds of thousands of workers were about to make their way home. The reasons why are still not apparent, but it's clear that an under-maintained, antiquated grid system running more to make profit than to provide a service is not the safest system of supplying electricity.
