Distro - Voss Water Project in Mali 

Stuart Franklin 

Roughly one billion people, a sixth of the world’s population, do not have access to clean drinking water which results in the death of nearly two million children each year. That’s 5000 deaths per day from preventable diseases caused by unclean water and lack of adequate sanitation.

Magnum photographer Stuart Franklin travelled to Mali, one of the driest nations on Earth, to cover the Voss Foundation and their quest to provide clean water for the communities that live there.

The people of the Dogon region have endured in the harsh, arid conditions of central Mali for millennia and generations...
