Le Val-Fourré is a banlieue (suburb) located in Mantes-la-Jolie, west of Paris. Centered around a housing development constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, most of the town's residents live in this area. The vast majority of Le Val-Fourré's inhabitants are immigrants from the Maghreb, specifically Morocco and Senegal.
