Werner Bischof Estate 

Werner Bischof arrived in Peru in 1954, after travelling through Mexico and Panama. On the 14th May he embarked on a trip through the Andes. Two days after setting off, on the 16th May, Werner was tragically killed when the car he was travelling in came off a remote mountain road.
These images from Peru are the last photographs Werner took before his death, exploring the reality of life in the harsh but beautiful landscape of the Andes.
