Khmer Rouge Leader Found Guilty
Kaing Guek Eav, better known as "Duch", has been found guilty of crimes against humanity by a Cambodian/UN tribunal. He'd been sentenced to 35 years, but since Duch had been illegally imprisoned for 5 years and has already been behind bars for 11 years he may only be expected to serve out a 19 year sentence.
Duch has admitted to having ran the Khmer Rouge's Tuol Sleng prison. During it's operation it's believed that as many as 17,000 men, women and children were executed at this notorious torture facility.
