Book - Calderdale Photographs

Martin Parr

This small and rare catalogue contains 13 black & white images from early in Martin Parr’s career, when he lived in Hebden Bridge, a small town in West Yorkshire in the North of England. During the period 1975 to 1980, with grant aid from the Arts Council, he produced a body of work about the area entitled the ‘Non-Conformists’. This catalogue was created to link in with an exhibition held at Piece Hall Art Gallery in Halifax in early 1984.
