With seven nominations to his name, Canadian born singer, songwriter and producer The Weeknd could be kicking off his birthday celebrations a day early at the Grammy Awards tonight.
Peter Van Agtmael met The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, in Toronto in 2014. Visiting the singer at his vast Trump Tower apartment, and accompanying him back to his humble beginnings at the housing complex he used to call home.
