Einstein's Gravitational Waves
Magnum Photographers
11th February 2016 will mark the anniversary of the detection of gravitational waves, a phenomenon generated by cosmic collisions of black holes. This scientific breakthrough was predicted a hundred years ago by Albert Einstein, the greatest physicist of the 20th Century and Nobel Prize winner in his general theory of relativity. Astrophysicists all around the globe hailed the find as the kind of advance that comes along only once in a lifetime.
